Electrocardiogram is a painless, non-invasive diagnostic test that is routinely used to assess the electrical and muscular functions of the heart. The principle of the test is to measure and record on to a paper the electrical impulses generated by the heart muscle, when small metal electrodes are stuck on to patient´s arms, legs and chest.

Holter monitor is a recording device commonly used to keep track of your heart function. The Holter monitor lets your doctor see how your heart functions on a long-term basis (24-hour or longer). It provides information about heart´s rate, rhythm and blood circulation during your daily activities. During the test the ECG sensors with the recorder are placed onto patient’s chest. The device doesn´t limit the patient's daily activities or sleep.

Echocardiography, or cardiac ultrasound examination, is a painless, highly informative, non-invasive cardiac image processing diagnostic method. The doctor can see the heart and it´s work on the screen, using ultrasound sensor. The test can provide information about the size and shape of heart, pumping capacity, the structure and function of heart valves, aortic pathology, heart muscle injury, reasoned by previous heart attack, or blood clots in the heart cavity.

An exercise stress test (treadmill test or exercise electrocardiogram) is used to measure the effect of exercise on heart. The activity of heart is measured with an electrocardiogram (ECG) during the test. The blood pressure readings are also taken. This study is especially important for diagnosis of heart blood supply and heartbeat disorders, as they are not detectible during usual ECG. During an exercise stress test, you may either walk on a motor-driven treadmill or pedal a stationary bicycle (veloergometry).

    • Holter Blood Pressure (24 hour)

Blood Pressure monitor is a device used in high pressure diagnostics and in its treatment tracking. By measuring your blood pressure at regular intervals over 24 hours, your doctor is able to get clear pictures of how your blood pressure and heartbeat changes throughout the day. During the test a small digital blood pressure machine is attached to a belt around patient´s body, which is connected to a cuff around the upper arm. The device doesn´t limit the patient's daily activities or sleep.
